Greetings and welcome to our website. If you are a breast
cancer survivor who is still feeling fatigued even after completing
treatment, you are not alone. Unfortunately, up to
a third of breast cancer survivors report feeling fatigued even
after treatment, sometimes for years afterwards.
Even though modern medicine has not come to a conclusion on
why some survivors remain fatigued after treatment, there are
things that can be done to help the fatigue. One treatment
that shows promise for relieving fatigue is a complementary medicine
technique called hands-on-healing. A few studies suggest
that hands-on-healing helps with fatigue and quality of life
in cancer.
We are conducting a study comparing hands-on-healing versus
simple touch to help determine whether these treatments might
help with fatigue as well as improve immune function. All
participants will receive hands-on-healing at no cost to them. Please
read on (clicking the tabs on the left for specific information)
and contact us if you have questions and/or would like to participate.
